Study Information
Thank you for your interest in participating in the research study entitled Success Stories of Academic Recovery. The purpose of this study is to learn to success stories of current undergraduate students who were once on academic probation and are now in good academic standing with the university. We are inviting your participation in the screening process, which will consist of questions regarding your past and current academic standing and your contact information. This screening survey is estimated to take no longer than 5 minutes, and it will be used to determine if you are eligible to participate in the interview for the study. Your participation in the screening survey and in the interview is voluntary. You have the right not to answer any question and to stop participation at any time.
If you meet the criteria for this study and are willing to participate in an interview, the researcher will email you to schedule an interview. The interview is estimated to take 30-60 minutes and will occur in a public location on Ball State’s campus or on Zoom.
