The Office of the Vice Provost for Research, the Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, and colleges are excited to announce a collaborative program to provide paid interdepartmental mentoring opportunities for TL and NTL faculty during academic year 2026-27. This past year, a majority of faculty who participated in the Faculty Mentors Network joined the program because they were:
- Exploring a new career goal (e.g., writing a book)
- Making progress toward a career goal (e.g., working towards promotion)
- Dealing with a challenging situation at work (e.g., preparing for parental leave)
- Completing a career activity for the first time (e.g., study abroad, writing a grant)
More information about these programs and applications to participate as a mentee or a mentor can be found on our website (due April 30th).
Please feel free to reach out to Dr. Katie Lawson (kmlawson4@bsu.edu) for more information.
