Online Grant Writing Course

April 06, 2020
A three credit course titled “FCFC 425 Grant Writing and Research Methods” is offered online this summer. This course focuses on how to write grants with an additional focus on very basic research methods (helpful for developing a plan for evaluating a funded project or program—an important part of the grant application process). It is a very practical course—you complete worksheets and write papers to practice grant writing skills instead of taking tests. Though the course is primarily designed for those involved in the human services, it may be broad enough to cover those involved in other fields. ECYF 250 Family Relations is a prerequisite course but I can have that waived for you. Contact me if interested or if you have any questions or for the prerequisite waiver. I will need your student ID number to get the prerequisite waived. Thanks.
