The Ball State Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities (Code) is published on-line at www.bsu.edu/studentcode. Students are expected to read and comply with the Code. The web page links to a number of other policies (e.g., alcohol, drugs, academic ethics, Good Neighbor exception, and student leaves) that also define the student’s relationship to the university.
The Code articulates the University’s high expectations for student behavior and the procedures used to address behavior that falls short of expectations. The Code also includes the Beneficence Pledge and the University’s statement on freedom of expression.
