As a part of the construction activities surrounding the new Center for Innovation, Ball State University has agreed to partially close North Martin Street between West Ashland Avenue and West University Avenue.  Specifically, this road closure encompasses the most Northern 100 feet of North Martin Street.

North Martin Street road closure will begin March 31, 2025 and will remain closed until June 20, 2025.

The current route to the McKinley Avenue Parking Garage will not be affected.  All vehicles will still enter/exit McKinley Avenue Parking Garage from the East via West Ashland Avenue.  Vehicles will be able to access West Ashland Avenue from North Dill Street and North Dicks Street.

The sidewalk along the West side of North Martin will remain open.  Additional wayfinding signs will be added to assist with navigation around this road closure.

An up-to-date "Construction Detour Map" is located on the University’s Facilities Planning and Management webpage under “Transportation and Accessibility Resources”.
