North Calvert Street Road Closure
As a part of the construction activities surrounding the new Performing Arts Center, Ball State University in tandem with the City of Muncie have agreed to temporarily close North Calvert Street between West Ashland Avenue and West University Avenue.
North Calvert Street road closure will begin February 21, 2025, and will remain closed until June 3, 2025.
As a result of this road closure, the route to the McKinley Avenue Parking Garage will be adjusted. Please enter/exit McKinley Avenue Parking Garage from the east via West Ashland Avenue. You will be able to access West Ashland Avenue from North Martin Street, North Dill Street, and North Dicks Street. Wayfinding signs will be added along these streets to assist with navigation to the McKinley Avenue Parking Garage.
An up-to-date "Performing Arts Center Detour Map" is located on the University’s Facilities Planning and Management webpage under “Transportation and Accessibility Resources”.
