This pilot opportunity, administered by SPA’s Aspire Internal Grant Program, will enable NTL faculty at Ball State to apply for funding to support activities undertaken to advance their development as scholars, including, but not limited to, workshops or conference travel for excellence in teaching, scholarly presentations/performances, and/or for professional development.
The deadline for this competition is the 15th of every month. The application must be submitted before the travel or professional development opportunity occurs. Applications will be reviewed via InfoReady the month before the requested travel is to occur.
Guidance:
- A maximum award amount of $500 is available.
- Only one award is allowable per person, per Fiscal Year.
- If travel will be occurring in person (versus virtual training/workshops), travel must comply with all applicable travel policies: BSU Travel Regulations and Procedures Manual.
- Funding is transferred to a departmental account, not to the recipient.
- Submissions accepted via the InfoReady portal.
