The Honors College is pleased to announce that Dr. Andrea Wolfe has accepted the position as the Director of Nationally Competitive Scholarships beginning immediately. Dr. Wolfe, who earned her PhD in American Literature from Ball State University in 2010, joined the Ball State English Department in 2011. She began advising students on nationally competitive scholarship applications in the fall of 2011. She became Interim Director of Nationally Competitive Scholarships in July 2024 after Barb Stedman’s retirement.
The Office of Nationally Competitive Scholarships (ONCS) provides Ball State students and alumni with the support they need to apply for nationally competitive scholarships and fellowships, which fund study abroad, research, and professional experiences. The scholarship processes facilitated afford applicants opportunities to grow as thinkers and communicators as well as reflect on their experiences and articulate goals. ONCS works with students and alumni from all departments and colleges across campus.
