Need help with study skills or time management? Get an Academic Coach!

September 08, 2021

Academic Coaching is the one-on-one process of helping you examine academic concerns and perceived obstacles to success.

Think of an Academic Coach like a personal trainer.  Personal trainers offer new workouts, individual support, and provide guidance to help you achieve your goals. Similarly, an Academic Coach is helping you strengthen your learning “fitness.”

Your academic goals might sound like this:

“I think I could manage my time better.”
“I don’t want my anxiety to get in the way of how I perform on a test.”
“I’d like to retain more of the information I learn for the long-term.”
“I want to procrastinate less.”

Academic Coaching is free for all Ball State students!  You can try it out one time or make a weekly appointment (recommended).
