Specialized Resources for Contemporary Music Composition

Contemporary music composition poses different challenges to researchers than most Western classical music. Those interested in new music must make use of non-traditional sources like composers' websites, program notes, discographies, news articles, and various community-sourced databases. This workshop will provide researchers with strategies to locate information about contemporary composers and compositions.
