Because of the COVID crisis, the University has had to change the course delivery modality for many classes in Banner. These changes in Banner trigger a new course creation in Canvas. When the new course is created, students and faculty are assigned to the new course and removed from the old.
If you have done any content work in your live Fall 2020 Canvas course and have noticed that content is no longer there, your course may have experienced a modality change in Banner. Please contact the Technology HelpDesk by visiting bsu.edu/helpdesk to report your issue or call 765-285-1517 and request that your content be restored.
Additionally, for those who cannot locate your Canvas courses, please contact your department for assistance. And, for those who may be anticipating modality changes to their courses, we recommend requesting a Canvas development course to begin building your courses.
