LPR Parking Enforcement

August 10, 2020
This is a reminder that beginning on Aug. 24, 2020 parking services will begin using License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology to enforce parking. This means that you will no longer receive a sticker permit for your windshield and that your license plate will be used as your primary permit. Therefore, your license plate must be visible at all times while parked on campus.

If you back your vehicle into a parking space you will need to purchase a special front license plate that can be read by the LPR enforcement vehicle cameras. That may be done in the Parking Services office after you purchase a permit. There will be a one-time cost of $15 per vehicle.

For more information on LPR technology please visit https://www.bsu.edu/about/administrativeoffices/parking-services/permits/lpr. If you have further questions contact Parking Services at (765) 285-1208 or email parking@bsu.edu
