Camp Kesem is kicking off our new year with our first virtual meeting on
Wednesday, November 18th at
7:00PM!
Camp Kesem is a national organization driven by college student leaders and dedicated to supporting children through and beyond a parent’s cancer. Our main event is our week-long summer camp that occurs the first week of July. This is where campers and selected counselors come together for a week of fun games and activities. It is also time for campers to be surrounded by other kids who understand the struggles they are facing and counselors that are there to support them in any way they can. The best part is that camp is
100% free to all campers.
Though one part of Kesem is our summer camp opportunity, there are many other volunteer and leadership opportunities available through our chapter. This is what we call our “through and beyond” support. We have our Friends and Family Days, where campers and counselors get to catch up throughout the year and many fundraising opportunities that go towards our camp week. We also still have spots left on our Coordinator (executive) Board, which is a great opportunity for students to take on a leadership role in our organization.
If you are interested in joining this year and would like to come to our first meeting, we ask that you fill out
this form so we know to send you reminders and the Zoom link for the meeting.
We are so excited to get this Kesem year started and hope to see you at our first meeting on
