Looking for Community as a Graduate Student? Join GSWI Wellness Communities!

If you’re an online or on-campus graduate student seeking to build community during your time at Ball State, consider signing up for the Graduate Student Wellness Initiative’s Wellness Communities in collaboration with the the Graduate School and the Department of Counseling Psychology, Social Psychology, and Counseling.

Wellness Communities are affinity groups designed for BSU graduate students to connect, support, and learn with other grads who share their identities. Wellness Communities are led and facilitated by Counseling Psychology master's and doctoral students under the supervision of the Practicum Clinic Director, Dr. Lina Burkhart.

GSWI currently has Wellness Communities for the following groups:

  • Students Navigating Grief (NEW)
  • LGBTQ+ Students
  • Students with Disabilities
  • Students of Color
  • International Students
  • and Students with Dependents

Sign up by September 22 to join! Email Staci Mannella, staci.mannella@bsu.edu with any questions. If you would like to see other groups formed, please let us know in the Wellness Communities sign-up form.
