Library Circulation Histories Workshop (Center for Middletown Studies)

April 16, 2021

Ball State University’s Center for Middletown Studies will host the Library Circulation Histories Workshop (LCHW) from April 19-30, 2021.  Originally planned as an in-person gathering, it will now run in a virtual format, with recorded presentations and  asynchronous discussions.  It features scholars from the US, the UK, and Australia whose scholarship employs digital resources and data analysis to explore the history of reading.  You can find more details at the Workshop website: https://lchw.bsudsl.org/.  Under the Program tab, you will see the panels and presenters.  Those interested can register to participate in the discussion forums for each session.  Registration is free and can be accessed through the site's menu under the Forum tab.

The Workshop is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Institute for Museum and Library Services, and the Center for Middletown Studies.  Contact Jim Connolly (jconnoll@bsu.edu) or Linda McCaw (lkmccaw@bsu.edu) for further information.
