Want to add the Learning Center Fall 2020 Resources module to your Canvas course or community? This module will let students know how to sign up for tutoring and Academic Coaching, among other resources.
In Canvas, click “Commons” in the menu on the left side of your screen, then type “Ball State Learning Center Resources Fall 2020” into the search box. Click on it!
Click “import/download” and follow the instructions to import the module into your course or community.
Included in the module: a Learning Center packet describing all of our programming, a video explaining how to make an appointment with a tutor or Academic Coach, and a very short Learning Center introduction video.
Please consider including the following information about the Learning Center on your syllabus and Canvas course/community:
The Learning Center offers free Tutoring and Academic Coaching for many courses at Ball State. For Fall 2020, all Tutoring and Academic Coaching appointments will take place online via WebEx.
Students can begin making appointments on Thursday, August 27. Tutoring and Academic Coaching will begin on Monday, August 31.

Tutoring and Academic Coaching hours: Monday-Thursday, 10am-8pm; Friday, 10am-2pm.
Testing accommodations for students with disabilities are available for students who have received the appropriate documentation from Disability Services. Tests may be administered in the Learning Center. Testing hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
Supplemental Instruction is available in select courses. If you have an SI leader for your course, that person will provide students with information the first week of school regarding weekly study sessions.
