Learner Resources available in Canvas for your students

September 09, 2021

Now that your classes are in full swing, it’s a good time to remind your students of the resources available to help them become successful learners.

Ball State’s How To Be a Successful Learner website has valuable tips from university advisors and professors and a list of resources that will help students adjust to any learning environment -- online, on-campus, or a blend of both. Here they can stay updated on the University’s Academic Integrity policy, learning strategies, and communication best practices. There’s also a section on practicing self-care during the semester.

The website can be found in the Canvas navigation menu and is named “Learner Resources.” The Course navigation menu is a series of links on the left side of your course that help you and your students access different course areas. By default, this Learner Resources link in the Course Navigation Menu is visible to your students. Learn more on how to use the Canvas Course Navigation Menu.
