Learn how cities go from ho-hum to awesome

August 18, 2022

Ever wonder why your town exists? Why are some cities more popular than others? What will cities look like in the future? Will all cars be driverless?

These are just a few of the questions we will explore this semester in PLAN 100, Introduction to Urban Planning and Development.

Community planners are communicators, problem solvers, and community organizers. They envision ways to improve the quality of life, preserve the environment, transport people, design neighborhoods, encourage economic development, and build a sustainable future. Join PLAN 100 to learn how they do it!

Worth 2 credit hours, PLAN 100 meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 to 9:50 a.m. The CRN is 34898. All majors welcome! If you have questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with us at planning@bsu.edu or 765.285.1963.
