A former Cardinal tennis player and a business administration graduate of the University’s Miller College of Business, Kent C. “Oz” Nelson has dedicated his time and expertise to giving back to Ball State. He served as a member of the Ball State University Foundation Board for 12 years, a committee board member for three capital campaigns, and has been an active member of the Miller College of Business Executive Advisory Board since its inception in 2003. In 2018, the University and Miller College dedicated the Kent C. “Oz” Nelson Logistics and Supply Chain Management Center for Excellence in honor of Mr. Nelson’s remarkable career, and in recognition of his vision for the program and his lasting effect on Ball State students and alumni.
