LAST CHANCE Applications for Provost's Prize Due Friday

Attention all graduating seniors!

The Honors College is now accepting applications for the Provost’s Prize until Friday, December 11, 2020, at 5:00 P.M.

The Provost’s Prize is awarded to one senior who displays academic excellence and supplements his or her education with fellowships, internships, creative or immersive learning projects, and a plethora of other extracurricular activities.

The prize includes a $1,000 award, presented by the Student Honors Council at the annual Honors College Senior Recognition Ceremony, and a medallion presented on-stage to the recipient at May Commencement. The recipient’s name will also be inscribed on a permanent plaque in the Ball Honors House.

To be eligible for the prize, interested students must:
• Be a matriculating senior graduating in Spring 2021,
• Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher,
• Submit one (1) resume,
• Submit one (1) unofficial transcript,
• Submit two (2) letters of recommendation,
• Submit one (1) personal statement, of 500 words or less, detailing achievements and aspirations.

A committee consisting of the Associate Deans and faculty representatives from each academic college will select the recipient no later than March 15, 2021. All applicants will be notified of their status after this date.
