High Impact Practices Mini-Course: Apply by June 1
This course is appropriate for faculty at Ball State who would like to embed high-impact practices (undergraduate research, immersive learning, or study abroad/away) into a course they teach. The course will introduce faculty to the research on high-impact practices, the progress made in implementing HIPs at Ball State, and the course listing and assessment procedures for faculty teaching HIP classes. The course will be open during the month of July 2023 and will be primarily self-paced and asynchronous. We will have one synchronous meeting (via Zoom) at the end of the course (July 31 from 10-11 a.m.) to share final products and reflections. You must be available for the meeting on July 31 to participate. Participants who complete the mini-course will receive $250 in an RIA. (Faculty who have previously completed the HIPs faculty learning community are welcome to enroll in the course but will not be eligible for funding.)
