This presentation will explore Lifestyles for Promoting Healthy Aging for All through programming funded by the National Institutes of Health. In particular, audience members will learn about the All of Us program, which engages community partners, health care providers, researchers, and the public to develop individualized health care initiatives. This initiative is a historical effort to collect and study data from one million or more people living in the United States.

Speaker Bio:
Gretchen Funk is Chief Program Officer for FiftyForward in Nashville, TN. Established in 1956, FiftyForward’s mission is to support, champion and enhance life for those 50 and over. At FiftyForward, Gretchen oversees seven lifelong learning centers and the provision of supportive services for older adults. She is also Principal Investigator for FiftyForward’s National Institutes of Health-funded All of Us Research Program award.  

Gretchen is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Government and Spanish. She earned a Master's degree in social work from the Hunter College School of Social Work, City University of New York. In 2019, she completed the Allstate Foundation/Kellogg School - Northwestern University Nonprofit Executive Leadership Development Program.
