This spring, the David Owsley Museum of Art and the Ball State Art Education program will offer three special 90-minute workshops for kids in grades 4 through 8:
Led by student teachers, children will work in groups to explore DOMA's collection, learn about a focus work of art, and then create their own project using what they have learned. The workshops would work well for (but are not limited to) home school students. These events are for kids only, so guardians should plan to drop off children between 9:50 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and pick them up at 11:30 a.m..
These special workshops are open to the public and free, but registration at the links above is required. Contact Maureen Nicholson, DOMA's curator of education, with questions.
