Join the Ball State community April 14-18 for CHIRPS Week, the university's annual celebration of Creative works, High-Impact practices, Research Projects, and Scholarship. CHIRPS Week showcases the extraordinary talents of students and faculty/staff mentors across campus and inspires interdisciplinary connection and collaboration.
Judges will be needed to attend and score oral presentations on April 15 and to review and score poster presentations at the Student Symposium on April 16.
If you want to participate, please complete this survey by March 30.
Oral presentations
- Judges are needed for one-hour sessions between 9am and noon on April 15th. You can participate in one or more sessions.
- Moderators are also needed.
- Each session will consist of 4 student presentations, each with 15 minutes total for presentation and Q&A.
Poster presentations
- Judges are needed for two hours and fifteen minutes between 12:45pm and 3pm on April 16th.
- You must be available for the entire judging window.
- Judges will be in groups of three and will assess up to 8 exhibits.
- Lots of walking is involved.
If you have teaching responsibilities during this time but would still like to participate, please feel free to bring your class along to check out their classmates’ incredible research and creative projects.
You will receive a Letter of Service from the Vice Provost for Research for your crucial participation in this event.
