The James Webb Space Telescope Team Releases its First Scientific Images

July 11, 2022

It's time to unfold the Universe with the help of the James Webb Space Telescope! The first batch of scientific images taken by the JWST will be shown to the public on July 12 at 10:30 a.m. EDT. You can watch the release of the first images on NASA’s official live broadcast from your own home. As the JWST is the largest and most powerful telescope ever launched into space, where it is taking images of the farthest regions in space ever observed, you’ll want to tune into this event.

The Brown Planetarium staff will be discussing the JWST during the upcoming Friday public programs on July 15. Visit our website at www.bsu.edu/planetarium for showtimes and more information.
