IRBNet Access ends on 7/31: Human Subjects Researchers should download materials.

July 07, 2025

Dear Human Subjects Researchers,

During the past academic year we successfully transitioned to Cayuse Human Ethics (HE) for all Human Subjects Research (IRB) proposals. We anticipate that access to the old platform, IRBnet, will cease July 31, 2025.  As a result, this is a final reminder to download and save all your IRBNet applications/materials/approval letters for your previously approved and active studies. You will need these materials to enter in Cayuse HE for modifications and renewals.  Neither you or the Office of Research Integrity / IRB will have access to these materials after July 31.

  • In IRBNet, go to the “Designer” and download all documents for each of your studies. Also, click on “Reviews” to download the approval letter(s).
  • A video demonstration is available here.

Should you have any questions regarding this procedure or the new Cayuse platform, please feel free to reach out to Dr. Michael Tagler, our IRB Chair.

Best,

Stephanie L. Simon-Dack
