Employment recruiters want to hire more college students and graduates this year, so be sure to plan for the Virtual Cardinal Job Fair this month!
As with many other aspects of life, career fairs are taking on new forms, and the Career Center is inviting you to attend the virtual Cardinal Job Fair this spring. The career fair will be held on Wednesday, February 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Cardinal Career Link. While a virtual career fair may seem quite different at first, in the most important ways, it is just like a regular fair: the employers are still there to find great candidates and students are there to find a great job or internship. As always, the Cardinal Job Fair is highly recommended for all majors to attend since employers are looking for diverse skills and want new hires from all disciplines.
When: Wednesday, February 17
Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Cardinal Career Link
In order to connect with employer representatives, you will need to have your résumé reviewed and uploaded on Cardinal Career Link before the fair. Upload your résumé to VMock, the Career Center’s 24/7 online résumé review tool that leverages technologies like data science, machine learning, and natural language processing to provide instant, personalized feedback on your résumé based on criteria gathered from employers and global best practices. Access VMock by logging in to Cardinal Career Link and following the directions on the VMock Pathway.
Our Career Coaches and staff will be here to support you in the new Cardinal Job Fair virtual format. We encourage you to set up an appointment with your Career Coach before the career fair if you have specific questions, or if you want to create a solid game plan to land an internship or full-time job. Our Career Center Team will be accessible before, during, and after the fair.
Registration is not required but highly recommended. You can still register for the job fair the day of the event.
