Gabby Lloyd will serve as the Interim Director of the Multicultural Center effective July 1. Since 2020 Gabby has served as the primary staff advisor for Asian Student Union, Black Student Association, Latinx Student Union and Spectrum in her role Assistant Director of Student Life. Gabby has played an integral role in planning and implementing multicultural, intercultural and identity/affinity-based student activities on our campus for the past two years. Gabby earned a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Ball State University and a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University.
In her role as Interim Director of the Multicultural Center, Gabby will spearhead the return of Asian Student Union, Black Student Association, Latinx Student Union, and Spectrum to the Multicultural Center. By aligning multicultural student organizations and activities with the Multicultural Center we are able to strategically coordinate programming and continue to develop robust multicultural student organizations, in concert with the mission of the Multicultural Center. With her experience on campus, knowledge of diversity, equity, and social justice initiatives; and commitment to Ball State students, Gabby is well poised to serve in this capacity.
