If you enjoy video games, consider participating in the Center for Emerging Media Design and Development’s study titled “Familiar and Strange: Defamiliarization’s Impact on Immersion in Experiences with Non-Human Player Characters.”
Should you choose to participate, you will be asked to complete a 30 minute confidential survey that comprises questions about two short game experiences. You may also opt-in to a separate interview about your experience, which will take no more than 15 minutes.
Inclusion Criteria: Adults 18-49 who play games moderately to frequently
Exclusion Criteria: Younger than 18 or 50+, or those who play games infrequently.
