Enroll in CPSY 370 - Introduction to Disability, Chronic Health Conditions, and Rehabilitation! This course is perfect for students who want to learn more about the human condition of disability, including students considering a career as a rehabilitation counselor, health care professional, or educator. The course will examine how disability is socially, historically, politically, and culturally constructed and will present theories of human behavior in relation to chronic health conditions and disabilities. Students will also develop an understanding of the current approaches, social justice and advocacy efforts, and proposed solutions for overcoming barriers experienced by people with disabilities and for promoting their health and well-being.
