Institute of Education Sciences Offering Info Sessions and Live Q&As with Program Officers

July 08, 2021

Is education one of your research areas of interest, or are you interested in learning more about the grant process?

The National Center for Education Research and the National Center for Special Education Research are offering a number of virtual sessions to provide information and assistance to potential grant applicants. Not only can you learn general information about the grant process as well as information specific to U.S. Department of Education-related programs, but this is also an opportunity to pose your questions directly to program officers.

These virtual office hours will be held regularly and cover various topics throughout July and until August 4. The sessions are free, open to the public and no pre-registration is required.

Here are just a few of the sessions being offered:

  • Understanding your project type (July 12)
  • Using longitudinal data for state policymaking (July 13)
  • General grant-writing tips (July 15)
  • Postsecondary and adult education research (July 20)
  • Writing data management plans (July 27)
