Indiana Academy Retirement Reception

May 20, 2025

Cary Witter

After 15 years of dedicated service to Ball State University and the Indiana Academy please join us as we celebrate the retirement of Cary Witter, Budget and Administrative Coordinator for The Indiana Academy.

Cary's wealth of knowledge about Ball State University and the Indiana Academy’s operations has been tremendous help to the entire Academy community. Her depth of understanding of the systems and processes, calming nature, and patience with even the most basic questions aided countless Academy faculty/staff in transitioning through times of change and growth. Not only has Cary been the 'go-to' person at the Academy when people have questions, but she was also more than willing to share what she knows to help her colleagues.

Cary plans to travel with her husband, become a snowbird in Florida and enjoy spending time with her grandchildren.

Cheryl Veatch

After 19 years of exemplary service as Admissions Office Coordinator at the Indiana Academy please join us as we celebrate the retirement of Cheryl Veatch.  For almost two decades, Cheryl has been a valuable contributor to the Academy’s mission of supporting high-ability students.  She was often the first point of contact prospective students and families meet when they visit the Indiana Academy, and countless visitors have experienced Cheryl's warmth and professionalism, which exemplifies what the Academy stands for.

Cheryl plans to relax and spend time with her family and friends.

Please stop by Wagoner Hall on June 1st between 2pm-5pm to wish them both a happy and healthy retirement. Light refreshments will be served.
