The World, According to Mali
1:00 - 2:00 PM
April 17th
Pruis Hall
Ball State alumna and co-founder of “GANGGANG,” Malina Simone Bacon, returns to campus for her second campus-wide lecture at Ball State. Malina Simone Bacon, journalism-alum, will further her narration of the exploration of the global caste system. Bacon articulates early learnings on love-based systems as the common denominator of, and the greatest strategy toward human sustainability.
GANGGANG focuses on investing directly in the creative economy with an intentional reparational slant. They aim to change the underrepresentation of creatives of color by producing more culture, beauty, and equity across cities. This partnership aligns with Ball State's efforts to provide students with opportunities to learn from experts in art-related fields and understand the importance of communities. Mali's lecture will be followed by a reception and Meet and Greet with the GANGGANG team.
This event is free and open to the public. Please consider attending this event with your class!
