Tuesday, February 16
10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

During this 90-minute session, we will watch “An Innovative Approach to Universal Design Learning: Engaging All Learners” featuring UDL and Accessibility Specialist Eric Moore of the University of Tennessee. We will use Moore’s materials as the basis for discussion on Universal Design Learning (UDL). We will also examine Canvas tools that you can employ to support UDL in your course design.

Dr. Courtney Jarrett, Director of Disability Services at Ball State, will join us to share insights on UDL and to answer questions from faculty in attendance.

During this session you will:
  • Consider ways for applying UDL design thinking to your course materials.
  • Learn Canvas tools and techniques that support UDL.
More on Watch Parties:
Join Online and Strategic Learning as we host watch parties this Spring! We will be viewing pre-recorded content from Academic Impressions on select topics via Zoom. Ball State faculty and employees enjoy premium access to Academic Impressions to live and pre-recorded webinars, valued at $450 to the public.

What will a watch party feel like? We will watch the content together and use the Zoom chat feature to discuss key points. Following the viewing will be 30-minute post-viewing engagement and Q&A sessions with our partners at Ball State.
