New Permit Options
- R4 (Rec Center/Health Center) - The yellow faculty/staff lot, G3, located between the Health Center and the Jo Ann Gora Student Recreation and Wellness Center will become lot R4. This change will take place beginning Monday, August 19, 2024.
R4 parking permits will be available for sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 24, 2024. These permits will be available on a first come, first served basis.
- DP7 (Disabled P7) - Beginning Monday, August 24, 2024, parking in a disabled driver metered space in lot P7 (AJ/TC) without paying will no longer be allowed.
We will be modifying 10 metered disabled driver spaces to the east end of the P7 parking lot. These spaces will be designated as DP7 and a permit will be required. The DP7 permit will be available to faculty and staff only and sold by the semester at the restricted parking rate.
DP7 permits will be available for sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 24, 2024. These permits will be available on a first come, first served basis. To purchase a DP7 permit, valid disabled driver documentation must be submitted to the Office of Parking Services at the time of purchase.
Seven additional disabled visitor metered spaces will be marked separately and will require payment regardless of permit status.
Parking Lot Changes
These changes will take effect beginning Monday, August 19, 2024. If you plan on parking in any of these areas, please watch signs carefully.
- The first floor up ramp in R7 is for metered parking only. R7 permit holders can no longer park on the ramp.
- The yellow faculty/staff parking lots, G2 and G3, located to the east of Worthen Arena and the Jo Ann Gora Student Recreation and Wellness Center, will be combined into one yellow faculty/staff lot. This lot will be named G2 and located directly north of R4 lot.
- The old G2 lot, located at the northeast end of the Arena, will become the new C9 lot.
- At the south end of campus, the G25 yellow faculty/staff lot, and the C4 commuter lot will trade places. Lot G25 will be located east of the Student Center parking garage. There will no longer be yellow faculty/staff parking south of Gilbert Street and McKinley Avenue, this area will become part of C5.
- The east portion of the yellow faculty/staff lot, G10, will become commuter parking lot, C5.
Permit Sale Dates
If you are interested in purchasing an R5, R7, or R11 permit and do not currently have one, do not purchase a permit for another lot. Please wait until July 8 to purchase your permit. Once you purchase a permit, you will not be able to exchange to another lot until the wait list process begins in August.
