Syllabus Statement

Please consider including the following information about the Learning Center on your syllabus and Canvas site:

The Learning Center offers free tutoring for many courses at Ball State.  Students can make appointments for in-person (North Quad 350) or virtual (Zoom) sessions.

Students can begin making appointments on Thursday, May 12, 2022.  Tutoring will begin on Monday, May 16, 2022.  

To make an appointment, visit bsu.navigate.eab.com.  Visit the Learning Center website for instructions: bsu.edu/learningcenter or click here.  

Testing accommodations for students with disabilities are available for students who have received the appropriate documentation from Disability Services.  Tests may be administered in the Learning Center.

Learning Center Tutoring and Testing Hours and Date Range

Tutoring (for all students) and testing accommodations (for students with disabilities) will be open during the following hours:

Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm

Tutoring and testing is available Monday, May 16 through Friday, July 22.

Import the Learning Center Canvas Commons module into your course today so your students can...

  • Check out which classes we offer tutoring for (flyer)
  • See written instructions explaining how to make an appointment with a tutor using Navigate
  • Click on a link to make an appointment with a tutor
  • Access our list of tutor-created micro-tutorial videos covering over 600 concepts in different courses at Ball State

To import, in Canvas, click on "Commons" on the left menu bar.  Search for "Ball State University Learning Center Summer 2022."  Click on the module.  Click "Import/Download" and select which course you would like to import it into.  Click "Import Into Course."
