Immersive Learning Open Office Hours - October

October 18, 2021

Faculty! Interested in leading an immersive project or have questions about the grant process? Want to discuss the process or brainstorm ideas? Discuss potential community partners and connections? Do you want to find out what immersive learning even is? We have a series of virtual open office hours via Zoom with our project managers.

The Office of Immersive Learning provides services that support Immersive Learning projects:

  • Team building activities for student teams
  • Class presentations Including Examining Bias, Building Intentional Relationships, Empowering Not Rescuing, and more
  • IL travel awards with a rolling application deadline (until funds are exhausted),
  • BBN awards
  • Fall and Spring Immersive Learning Provost Grant call for proposals

Immersive learning projects are high-impact learning experiences (BSU High Impact Practices - HIPs) that involve collaborative student-driven teams, guided by faculty mentors. Students earn credit for working with community partners such as businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies to address community challenges by creating a product that has a lasting impact.
