Don’t Skip the Primary: Voting in Indiana Is Happening Now

If you’re registered, you can vote now.

Primaries determine which candidates move forward to the general election. The primary effectively decides who will hold office. 

What you need to know:

  • Early voting is happening right now
  • You need a valid government-issued photo ID
  • Early voting runs through noon on May 4
  • Election Day is May 5 (6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.)
