John Neurohr (trombone) and Jiyoun Chung (piano) will perform music highlighting recent changes in the world of brass music. The program will include pieces by Kevin Day, Susan Mutter, Jiyoun Chung, and Reena Esmail. The selected pieces explore themes of grief and discovery with inspiration pulled from a variety of sources including jazz fusion, Hindustani classical, Pansori, and more.
