The Everyday Life in Middletown Project has been collecting diaries and other material describing daily life in Muncie since 2016. We continued to collect contributions during the pandemic, which allows us to explore the impact of the shutdowns and closures, working from home and the threat of illness on ordinary experiences. Project Directors Pat Collier and Jim Connolly will examine some of the ways the pandemic has disrupted daily lives and consider the significance of those changes.
