Word counts and page limits can be frustrating when you’re trying to communicate the great work you’ve been doing. You want to highlight your accomplishments, the work you plan to do, or why you deserve to be chosen for funding or an award—but how can you do all of that within limited space?

When you’re seeking funding, whether it’s a scholarship, grant, or fellowship, you need to write concisely and persuasively to communicate your point to your audience. Join Sponsored Projects Administration and The Writing Center for a hands-on workshop! We’ll be using Ball State’s Aspire internal grants application as an example, but the principles you’ll learn can be applied to a myriad of sponsors!? All interested students are encouraged to attend. Please bring a laptop.

Deadline approaching! This session would be advantageous for undergraduate students interested in applying to the upcoming February 10 Aspire deadline: https://www.bsu.edu/about/administrativeoffices/sponsored-projects-administration/aspire
