Word counts and page limits can be frustrating when you’re trying to communicate the great work you’ve been doing. You want to highlight your accomplishments, the work you plan to do, or why you deserve to be chosen for funding or an award—but how can you do all of that within limited space?

When you’re seeking funding, whether it’s a scholarship, grant, or fellowship, you need to write concisely and persuasively to make your point to your audience. Join Sponsored Projects Administration and The Writing Center for a hands-on workshop! We’ll be using Ball State’s Aspire internal grants application as an example, but the principles you’ll learn can be applied to a myriad of sponsors! There is no RSVP necessary. All interested students are encouraged to attend.

Date: Thursday, September 18 – 2-3pm
Location: Bracken Library, room 215
