Get funding for your Faculty Professional Development programming idea!

Do you have an innovative idea for a Faculty Professional Development program at Ball State University? Would you like to share your knowledge and expertise to help support our faculty colleagues’ professional growth? 

The Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs (VPAA) is seeking subject matter experts to expand our professional development offerings and enhance faculty success across the University. 

We invite proposals for professional development programs in areas such as: 

  • Cultural and Intellectual Diversity
  • Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education
  • Faculty Success & Career Development
  • Support for Specific Faculty Groups with Similar Roles or Experiences (e.g., Non-Tenure-Line, International, Practice/Clinical, Mid-Career and Senior-Level, Online Only, High-Enrolled Classes) 
     

If selected, you will receive $700–$1,000 in your Recognized Incentive Activity (RIA) Account, based on the program length, learning objectives, anticipated outcomes, and implementation plan. In return, you commit to presenting your program during the 2025-2026 or 2026-2027 Academic Year.
