It is estimated that 61 million adults in the U.S. have a disability (26% of the population), yet the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that only 19% of people with disabilities are in the labor force.  Despite being the largest minority group in the U.S., why is the struggle for civil rights and equity for people with disabilities often ignored by the media and in the education system?  Join Greg Fehribach, Distinguished Fellow in Ball State's Office of Inclusive Excellence, current Chair of the United States Access Board,  and former BSU Trustee in a discussion as to what Ball State students, faculty, and staff can do to promote full civic inclusion of college graduates with disabilities.  Greg will be joined by Larry Markle and Carlos Taylor, the Director and Manager of the Gregory S. Fehribach Center in Indianapolis, an organization that fosters opportunity and economic inclusion for college students in Indiana through internships, research, and educational programming. The discussion will be in person on October 20,  4:30-5:30 PM, AT 183, and also on Zoom. Register today to reserve your place.
