Friday Night Cardboard at Bracken Library This Friday - Sushi Go Party!

November 15, 2022

Friday Night Cardboard returns to Bracken Library this Friday, November 18, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Join Ball State University Libraries on Bracken Library’s lower level for this popular series of tabletop gaming nights.

Gamers are encouraged to play with their food in this month’s featured game, Sushi Go Party. Two to eight players select and play maki, sashimi, wasabi, green tea ice cream, and other tasty treats. Each food earns points in a different way, for instance by sets of three, pairs, or for the player who has the most of a particular item. Big meals are for sharing though, so each time players select a card they pass the remainder of their hands to the left, receiving new cards from the person on their right. Our librarian will help new players learn the game.

University Libraries hosts Friday Night Cardboard on the third Friday of every month when Fall and Spring classes are in session. Board, card, and word games from Education, Music and Media’s collection will be available to play, including modern board games like Catan, Carcassone, and Power Grid, and family classics like Uno, Scrabble, and Monopoly. Participants are welcome to bring a game of their own to share.

Advanced registration is not required. Just show up, and bring your friends!
