Session Description:

The physical well-being of children has been a global concern for generations, and something still fought for today. Proper nutrition and physical activity are promoted and encouraged in our medical communities as well as our educational systems, although financial support for programming can be a struggle. In recent years, we have become more aware of the growing need for social and emotional health, particularly for our youngest citizens. The COVID 19 Pandemic brought these physical, emotional and nutrition concerns to the forefront as the World struggled to maintain life’s necessities. Allied community partners are now poised to lead local initiatives to better serve our nation’s children. Join this free educational session developed to bring attention to what we know about total youth wellness, and how we can move the needle forward together.
