Ball State Information Technology has become aware of many recent instances of emails targeted at students promising payment for part time employment, internships, weekly studies, mailing letters, purchasing products at Walmart, research, etc. These emails may also indicate the sender is affiliated with Ball State.
These emails do not come from anyone affiliated or connected to Ball State University and should be regarded as fraudulent.

- BSU STUDENT PART TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY
- Work & Earn $400
- Get paid $ 350 weekly,
- Weekly Position Announcement FT/PT
- EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS
- EMPLOYMENT!!! (INTERNSHIP/JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS)
… or sometimes just have a blank subject line.
Again, these emails are not from anyone associated with the university. Please do not respond to these offers of employment.
If you’ve already responded and/or provided them with sensitive information such as banking information, credit card information, social security number, etc., please consider contacting your local law enforcement agency.
