There’s still time to register for the Provost’s Faculty Summit on Inclusive Teaching: Lessons from 2020 taking place this Friday, March 19, via Zoom. Register today!

Take the day to connect and collaborate with your faculty peers from across Indiana. Benefit from outstanding examples of teaching practice as you learn from encouraging faculty members. Create alliances for improved learning outcomes.

Dr. Susana Rivera-Mills will provide the welcoming address, followed by an immersive workshop presented by Dr. Kelly Hogan and Dr. Viji Sathy from the University of North Carolina. Hogan and Sathy are both award-winning instructors, with a combined 25+ years classroom experience, and are passionate about student success, equity, and inclusion in the classroom. Both have been featured experts in ACUE’s Course in Effective Teaching Practices.

As the day continues, you will have opportunities to participate in panels discussing strategies for inclusive teaching and lessons learned from COVID-19, and engage with Faculty Learning Communities. There will also be a state-wide Iron Chef Pedagogy Competition, where faculty-led teams will compete to create the best solutions for the teaching and learning scenario given to them.

Summit events will kick off at 9:30 a.m. and conclude by 5 p.m. Register today to save your spot.
