Fly Well: Prioritize Your Sleep

August 06, 2026
Quality sleep is an important part of your overall health and well-being. Getting enough sleep can improve your mood, increase focus and productivity, support your immune system, and help your body recover and recharge.

Try these simple habits to support better sleep:

    • Keep a consistent sleep schedule. Going to bed and waking up at the same time each day helps support your body's natural sleep cycle.
    • Unplug before bedtime. Avoid screens for at least 30 to 60 minutes before bed. Reducing blue light exposure can help signal to your brain that it's time to rest.
    • Create a sleep-friendly environment. A cool, dark, and quiet bedroom can make it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep.
    • Prepare for restful sleep. Avoid eating close to bedtime and allow yourself time to unwind with calming activities such as reading, stretching, journaling, or deep breathing.
