You are invited to the First-Generation Celebration Reception on Friday, November 8 from 11am to 1pm in the Multicultural Center.  We hope you will join us for cake, first-generation swag, and door prizes while meeting other first-generation college students and having conversations with supportive faculty and staff.

We have a full week of events planned to celebrate your optimism, resilience, commitment, and all that you bring to our campus community.

If you can't wait until next week to start meeting other first-generation Ball State students, start a conversation on social media using #First2Fly:

  • Share your own story as a first-generation student
  • Share the best tips you have received as a first-generation student
  • Snap a selfie in your favorite area of campus
